Option 3

  1. Read the text and the infographic linked below about how students benefit from accessibility tools and assistive technology in the classroom.
  2. Learn and explore the built-in accessibility tools in the Edge and Chrome browsers or these accessibility features on iPad.
  3. Create a video or screen share explaining how to use at least 3 of the accessibility tools.
  4. Include what type of device you are using, what browser you are using and how each of the accessibility tools can improve learning.
  5. Submit your video or screenshare link by emailing to digcit@ssisd.net.




            Option 1

  1. Read the SSISD Student Acceptable Use Policy
  2. Choose at least 1 responsible use example and at least 1 example of an unacceptable or irresponsible use of technology.
  3. Visually represent each example by creating a digital or physical poster that would help a younger student understand the meaning of the examples you chose to highlight on your poster.
  4. Clearly label the parts of your poster with the words “Responsible or Acceptable” and “Irresponsible or Unacceptable”.
  5. Submit your digital poster or a picture of your physical poster by emailing to digcit@ssisd.net.


            Option 2

  1. Read the following article: The First and Second Digital Divides: Challenges in Classroom Tech Use
  2. Create a digital or physical infographic explaining the differences between the first and second digital divide.
  3. You must include visuals/drawings along with a brief explanation/summary of each term.
  4. Submit your infographic to digcit@ssisd.net.
